When she was young, Polly Murphy wanted to be a doctor, but her father had old fashioned ideas about what women should do and dissuaded her from this course. Today she is a successful lawyer, having found her niche handling legal cases with health issues. She enjoys reading medical charts, putting the pieces of a medical case together, and applying criteria of Social Security or Veterans Administration.
